The artifacts were identified as flint figurines found in an area called Kharaysin in Jordan’s Zarqa river valley.
Anomalies are estimated to have been used in rituals and rituals including burial and burial of ancient humans.
Experts say that the figurines point to a change that occurred during the Neolithic period. Animal images have been used before, but from about 8500 BC, human images appeared.
Most of the figurines are found in a burial area with seven burial holes. This also shed light on the burial customs of ancient mystery sects.
Some of the burial sites have been opened to identify bone fragments, including a severed skull. Another dead person was dug up from elsewhere and buried in this funeral site. The process is also repeated with some other skeletons.
“One of the excavators thought it was the figurines, something the other members had previously suspected. However, the more research can confirm that this is an accurate idea, ”emphasized Dr. Juan Ibáñez of the Milà i Fontanals Institute at the Spanish National Research Council (CISC).
