Scientists say four glowing circular objects appear along the edges from radio telescopes in Australia and India.
Kristine Spekkens, an astronomer from the Royal Canadian Military University and Queen’s University, revealed that objects still seem to be unexplored with many mysteries.
Objects, which look like remote islands, are known as strange radio circles, or ORCs. Astronomers do not know exactly how far these ORCs are from the Earth, but they are associated with distant galaxies.
Previously, astronomers recorded a rare image of a comet appearing at the same time with noctilucent clouds.
Comets appear above the rare noctilucent cloud
The comet NEOWISE plans to fly closest to Earth in 6,800 years of highlight with a long trail of glowing tails. NASA’s space telescope has been recording images of comets since March 2020.
Since July, in many parts of the world, astronomers have the opportunity to admire comets with the naked eye. NASA said NEOWISE will fly closest to Earth on July 22 with a distance of 103 million km.
However, rare images of comets appear at the same time as noctilucent clouds. Events rated with excellence meet infinitely.
Noctilucent clouds form when water molecules gather around tiny dust particles and freeze, forming ice crystals. These clouds reflect the sun and emit light, usually blue and white.
Comet NEOWISE takes about 6,800 years to complete a long orbit. Therefore, it will be several thousand years before you have the opportunity to admire because it will not visit the inner space of the solar system.
