The super hot alien is enough to tear itself apart
KELT-9b is the name of an alien that causes scientists to go from surprise to surprise.

In a study published in the Journal of Astrophysics, KELT-9b, first discovered in 2016, is not only the hottest planet scientists have discovered, but its heat. so extremely severe that it melts on the surface causing molecules to separate from each other in the atmosphere.

Using the Spitzer Space Telescope, scientists discovered that the temperature above the planet was 4,300 degrees Celsius, making KELT-9b at least 80% hotter than all known stars. The planet’s day hand is so hot that hydrogen molecules cannot hold them together and are chopped into atoms. This process is called hydrogen dissociation and recombination.

"This type of planet is very harsh in temperature, it has characteristics separate from many other exoplanets," said planetary scientist Megan Mansfield of the University of Chicago.

Earlier, according to a report published in Nature, KELT-9b’s atmosphere contained many heavy metals, such as iron and titanium, but in the form of gas evaporating because of the overheating temperature of this exoplanet’s surface.
